The message of the president
My dear citizens;
We started the "Alanya for Everyone" project with the "decision to make the infrastructure of all tourist facilities within the adjacent area of our municipality suitable for disabled people" taken by the Alanya Municipal Council in the June 2003 session.
The main purpose of this long-term struggle and project, which started in 2003; To take the necessary measures to facilitate the lives of the elderly, children, patients, pregnant women and disabled people who constitute the majority of the society, to identify the deficiencies, to project the identified deficiencies correctly and to bring our people to the most advanced living standards.
We carried out our work within this framework while planning the future of Alanya. Both the "Regulation for Disabled People" adopted by the municipal council and the accessibility solutions we implemented in the urban fabric and social areas are not only very important firsts in terms of municipality, but are also shown as examples of good practice throughout the country.
In addition, within the scope of the "Alanya for Everyone" project, our "Barrier-Free Tourism City Alanya" project, which we initiated so that every segment of the society can benefit from the blue of the Mediterranean and the beauties of Alanya, is supported by the Republic of Turkey. Under the coordination of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey. It continues successfully with the participation of the Ministry of Family and Social Policies General Directorate of Disabled and Elderly Services, Alanya Municipality, Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Alanya Touristic Operators Association. Thanks to this project, disabled individuals from all corners of our country can benefit from all social and touristic opportunities of the city. can use it freely.
The "Alanya for All" project, which we initiated to quickly realize the modern vision of Alanya, will make the lives of disabled individuals easier, develop the culture of living together and ensure that the existing prejudices against disabled individuals in society are completely destroyed.
